Zack Moss reportedly avoids major injury

In the Cincinnati Bengals’ disappointing defeat to the Baltimore Ravens at 41-38, the first string running back, Zack Moss, was unfortunately seen limping off the field after sustaining what seemed like an injury to the lower leg.

Moss was running with the ball when a defender from the Ravens yanked him down from behind causing him to fall on his back. He remained on the field for some time until trainers finally came to attend to him. He stayed on the turf for quite some time before being able to walk off under his power.

Moss returned to the game briefly before leaving again for the remainder.

NFL Media’s Mike Garafolo says that Moss is out of serious danger.

Moss put up 24 rushing yards on nine carries on Sunday and also caught three balls for another 24 yards because he is still in a time share with Chase Brown in the backfield.

Despite a 1-4 start, the Bengals’ offense is off to maybe it’s best start under the Zac Taylor Joe Burrow era. Moss and Brown are pieces of that so Moss not suffering a long term injury is welcome for the Bengals who are looking to right the ship after a horrid start.

Moss did not practice on Wednesday evening again, and he did not expect to be present for the match between the Bengals and the Giants on the coming Sunday Night Football, but he hopes that it is necessary otherwise.
